Applicant must

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
  • Have a CCNA or MCSE certification
  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Network administrator, Network VLAN and Routing Active Directory, Windows servers, LAN, WAN
  • Have prior experience in Cisco Switch, Firewall Fortigate. Those with such experiences would be highly considered
  • Have knowledge of DNS, Network Security, Network Infrastructure
  • Be able to troubleshoot and solve system and network / Wi-Fi problems
  • Be able to communicate in basic English
  • Be service-minded, enthusiastic and responsible

Scope of Network Task:

  • Install all new network hardware and configuration for school networks
  • Maintain network services, equipment and devices
  • Manage all system back-up and restore protocol
  • Plan and support network and computing infrastructure
  • Perform troubleshooting analysis of  school network
  • Document network problems and resolution for future reference
  • Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam
  • Requirement of a thorough knowledge of networking essentials
  • Oversee software and network security
  • Strong analytical abilities and professional office experience needed

Scope of  Maintenance System:

  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Manage and monitor cloud server and storage
  • Contribute to and maintain system standards
  • Manage Active Directory User
  • Manage Google Gsuite
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the IT Manager
  • Back up information data and report to IT Manager
  • Create manuals and detailed sets of work instructions

Operations and Support

  • Perform daily network monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all campus networks and key processes, reviewing network logs
  • Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
  • Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request
  • Back up Data Information on schedule, perform daily back-up check
  • Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies,  investigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures of network, coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
